Jessi has spent over a decade of study and practice as an occupational therapist (OT) and specializes in children ages 0-6 years old. She founded Royal Oak Pediatric Therapies in 2017 after providing OT services to children with a wide variety of needs. She went into private practice to be able to offer children and their families the highest level of care possible.

As a child, Jessi got to see how happy her grandmother was as an occupational therapist, practicing all the way up until she was 93 years old.  Jessi was fascinated by the idea of helping kids better participate in their lives and the world around them simply by doing what they already love to do - play!

She uses play as the foundation of her therapy, since play is the child's main occupation. Jessi knows that kids can grow to their fullest potential when employing play-based therapies, using what interests and motivates the child, and focusing on their strengths. She absolutely loves kids and may never consider what she does as "work".

Jessi and her family are settled in Evanston after spending several years in the city of Chicago. She enjoys spending time outdoors and being active with her husband, their 1 year old son, and their doggo named Gordy.

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, University of Michigan

• Registered and Licensed to practice in Illinois

• Credentialed Early Intervention Provider
